The Northwest eLearning JournalThe Northwest eLearning Community, the hosts of the NWeLearn Conference, will publish its first online, peer-reviewed journal The Northwest eLearning Journal on May 1, 2020. Article submissions are not limited to the Northwest region. We welcome contributions across the US and internationally.

Deadlines and Review Process
- October 18, 2019: Submission deadline.
- January 10, 2020: Editors will reply to authors to indicate:
- Acceptance with Minor Editing,
- Potential Acceptance with Major Revision, or
- Decline publication.
- March 6, 2020: Revisions deadline.
- May 1, 2020: Publication date of first issue of “The Northwest eLearning Journal.”
Format of Each IssueWe are envisioning two general types of articles that will be included in each issue:
- In-depth research-based articles which can include, for example, educational action research (2,500-6,000 words), and
- Shorter practice-based articles which can address techniques and technology, and reviews of new books that are relevant to elearning (600-2,500 words)
- Papers are submitted via the NWeLearn website. The submission page will be available in June 2019.
- Submissions should be prepared according to APA style guidelines.
- All articles published in this journal are double-blind peer reviewed. Self-identifying citations and references in the article text should either be avoided or left blank when manuscripts are first submitted. Authors are responsible for reinserting self-identifying citations and references when manuscripts are prepared for final submission.
- For initial submission, authors should submit their manuscript in electronic form as PDF only. While submitting the manuscript, authors must provide a concise and informative title of the article, a self-contained abstract (100-150 words) that should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references, and five to ten keywords.
- Submissions should be approximately 2,500-6,000 words if it is in the categories of teaching and research; submissions should be approximately 600-2,500 words in other categories.
- Upon acceptance, the author will be requested to furnish the final version of the manuscript in electronic form as a Microsoft Word file.
- Authors are responsible for observing copyright laws when quoting or reproducing material.
- Authors are advised not to use more than three levels of displayed headings.
